Hosting Policy for K Web Designer
Welcome to K Web Designer Hosting Services. This Hosting Policy outlines the terms and conditions for clients who choose our hosting services. By using our hosting services, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Services Included
When you subscribe to our hosting services, the following are included in your annual plan:
Website Hosting
- Reliable and secure hosting for a full 1-year term.
Cybersecurity
- Advanced protection to safeguard your website from online threats, including malware and hacking attempts.
Technical Support
- Dedicated support team to assist with hosting-related technical issues and inquiries during business hours.
Email Business Services
- Professional email setup for your business domain, ensuring seamless communication with your clients and partners.
Daily Backups
- Automatic daily backups of your website to ensure your data is secure and recoverable in the event of an issue.
- A copy of the backup can be provided upon request.
2. Payment Terms
- The hosting fee is $150 per year.
- Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice and must be completed within 30 days of the invoice date.
3. Late Payment and Overdue Policy
To ensure uninterrupted service, timely payment is essential. The following applies if payment is delayed:
Grace Period
- Payments not received within 30 days of the due date will result in your website and associated services being temporarily suspended.
Website Suspension
- Once suspended, all hosting services, including your website and business email, will be unavailable.
Reinstatement Terms
- A $100 Reinstatement Fee will be required to reactivate services.
- Additionally, all outstanding invoices must be cleared in full before the website and other services can be reinstated.
Permanent Account Deletion
- Accounts that remain unpaid for 60 days post-suspension may be permanently deleted, including all associated data.
4. Renewal Policy
- Renewal notices will be sent via email 30 days before the term expires.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring their contact information is up-to-date to receive renewal notices.
- Renewal payments must be made before the expiration date to maintain continuous service.
5. Cancellation and Hosting Transfer Policy
- Clients may cancel their hosting services at any time by sending an email to [email protected].
- Upon cancellation, all hosted services will terminate.
- If transferring to another hosting provider, a copy of the most recent daily backup can be provided upon request.
- Cancellation does not entitle the client to refunds for unused time on the hosting term.
6. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for all hosted websites. However, occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance or unforeseen technical issues. In such cases:
- Planned maintenance will be communicated 48 hours in advance.
- Emergency downtime will be addressed promptly, and clients will be notified as soon as possible.
7. Limitations of Liability
- K Web Designer is not responsible for loss of data due to client negligence, such as failure to maintain backups.
- While we take extensive measures to secure our servers, we cannot guarantee complete immunity against cybersecurity breaches.
8. Data Backup
Daily Backups:
- We provide automated daily backups of your website, ensuring data is recoverable in the event of technical issues.
- A copy of the backup can be requested by contacting [email protected].
Backup Responsibility:
- While we offer daily backups, clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups as an additional safeguard.
9. Changes to Policy
K Web Designer reserves the right to update or amend this Hosting Policy at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
